Flatbed Dispatcher Job Posting

Job Responsibilities:

• 

  Coordinating paths for each truck for accurate delivery/pickup

• 

  Scheduling pickup/delivery times

• 

  Enter shipments into a TMS accurately and quickly

• 

  Communicate with both customer and driver and relay relevant information accordingly

• 

  Search for backhauls to get drivers back to the base of operations

• 

  Provide Customers with all necessary paperwork relevant to the transportation of their cargo

• 

  Understand all permits necessary and request from our in-house permit department in a timely manner

• 

  Utilize load boards to find freight and negotiate with brokers

Skills:

• 

  Excellence in organization, planning, problem solving, and effective management of freight

• 

  Demonstrated prioritization, organization and time management skills necessary to balance shipper and carrier communication effectively and accurately

• 

  Highly self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment

• 

  Experience juggling multiple projects and recurring duties simultaneously, ensuring efficient completion within deadlines and sharp attention to detail

• 

  Ability to maintain poise, professionalism, and positivity at all times

• 

  Basic computer skills and familiarity with Excel and TMS

• 

  Reliable and punctual

• 

  Ability to maintain composure under pressure
